Shawarma House - London

I have been here for lunch over 100 times over the past 5 years and it has never disapointed. Always fresh and flavourfull. Hats off to ownership/Francis and staff whom keep it so consistency great.

The food here is excellent! However, my last order was delivered by a completely different resteraunt! The guy that delivered it said our order was sent to him instead because they Shwarma House didn't have anyone to deliver until later in the afternoon. We were never notified. If I wanted the other I could've just walked next door and got it. They state they are cousins but the food is definitely different. Unfortunately because of the lack of regard to call and ask if we were ok with the switch, we will no longer be ordering.

We ordered x3 platter meals, plus some pita breads and hummous as sides and ate 3 times from the very generous portions. The garlic sauce is very, very good.

I tried Shawarma House today at 2 pm. It is clearly a bylaw with Covid that everyone wear masks inside a restaurant, yet you allowed a male customer to come in, and lift his t-shirt to his face as a face mask . He proceeded to cough everywhere, on his hands and t-shirt proving he is exactly the customer that we need to be wearing a mask . I felt very uncared for as a customer and will not be back .

In a CV-19 world, this is one of our go-to spots for mid-east takeout food. My experience includes good-sized portions, fresh ingredients, and truly heartfelt service. The chicken shawarma sandwich platter is yummy.
