The Sterling - London

I went to this restaurant with my colleagues for a quick lunch. I originally ordered a pasta dish, but it was not available so I ended up with a barbecue chicken sandwich (which another colleague also ordered). However, I was disappointed to find that it was not a sandwich at all, but rather a piece of hard bread with cold chicken on top. I couldn't taste the barbecue flavor either. The funny thing is, when we tried to cut the bread, it was so tough that we had to ask for steak knives. Despite our efforts, it took 2 or 3 minutes to finally be able to eat something, but the portion was very small. I won't be returning to this restaurant and I do not recommend it for food.

I came across this restaurant after work and it was a great find - I will definitely be returning. The Espresso Martinis and Pornstar Martinis on tap were amazing. I highly recommend them.

We went to this restaurant on a Thursday evening and it was lively! The staff were very efficient and the sharing boards were fantastic, especially the buffalo chicken pieces. We also tried a pornstar martini served from a tap. We will definitely return.

Very rude bar tender. Stood at the bar to get served, was blatantly ignored while nobody else was at the bar. Someone else came to the bar and got served first. We waited patiently, and then after the person was served the bar tender walked away, despite making eye contact and seeing that we were waiting, while the other bar staff also ignored us and continued cleaning glasses. We left in frustration. Very disappointing end to an excellent night had in another establishment….

It was my wife's 40th birthday party and to top it off it was falling on a Saturday on her actual birthday 29.02.20. After looking at numerous venues this place fitted the bill. The main reason for the review is the professionalism of the staff and organisation from all involved. Patrycja Kopciuch (events manager) especially was very receptive to our requests and overall gave us the assurances we need. Thank you Patrycja!! I can't recommend this place enough, such an iconic, wonderful venue. Great drinks selection, great food and supplied a fantastic DJ.
