Working opposite means this pub is too easy to visit after work. For the location, the prices are reasonable and there's always a good atmosphere.

This pub in the City of London is a charming, historic establishment located within the Andaz Hotel. Our drinks and lunch were served by the delightful Isabella, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. She even gave us a tour of the hotel, including its other restaurants, high tea room, and stunning lobby. Isabella is a fantastic representative for this excellent pub. I visited this restaurant for a beer and found the staff to be friendly, polite, and welcoming. The establishment itself is clean and well-maintained, located on a main road which attracts a lot of foot traffic.

Our first stop was Lady Abercorn’s at Liverpool Street Station. This place had a classy bar, a restaurant, and maybe even a health spa. It was quiet when we were there and had a relaxed, sophisticated vibe. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to eat some cupcakes we had brought along to celebrate the start of our journey. They even got me a shot, which was a nice touch. Overall, a good choice for our first stop. Next up was the White Hart in Whitechapel.
