If you visit Canecao, don't expect much, but you will leave satisfied. The Brazilian food is authentic and well-prepared, the cocktails are tasty and inexpensive. Although it was quiet on a Tuesday night, it didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves. On a weekend, it was much livelier. The restaurant has a no-frills atmosphere, and the bathrooms are not the nicest. Despite this, I have been twice now and will definitely return.

This is a relaxed, casual joint- looks like your public house in the neighborhood. They serve a fine pubby blend of Brazilian and Italian dishes, with a line of British standards. We got the steak. Next time I could focus on the bar snack menu instead to order a smash of the great looking Brazilian nibbles.
