Café Murano – Covent Garden Dining Counter

Great eating and venue, service was a little unexpected. in order there were some confusion about the order. only one of us was offered a drink, and when we reordered the second drink, it did not arrive and had to order again. during the payment we presented both our cards to share the bill and it was on only one card that was unexpected again.

Oysters and wine especially weren’t cold enough Seafood linguine was ok but the prawns weren’t cleaned (which is ok but a struggle in a pasta with red sauce at least devein them) and the squids were hard and chewy, not good. I wouldn’t order it again, especially for the price The grilled seafood platter was good though I’d order that again Fries weren’t crunchy enough to be double cooked as advertised. Overall not worth the price

The food was amazing, the staff was nice and helpful. Nice environment but it was a bit cold.

I had the best fish and chips I've ever eaten; the fish was fleshy and pure white in a teig without fat burning, fantastic three-fold boiled chips and I even ate the muddy heaps that I usually do not eat- delicious. great service of all, especially the young woman who serves our meal. beautiful open fish counter and large equipment. they will be recommending

It was a relaxed, busy good atmosphere on a Saturday night. there were hickups for the service like a missing chair, during which was booked in advance and then a broken given etc. our most important waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable. eating is delicious. I would say the pistachio ice cream brownie definitiw. it is a little over price for the experience
