Sonia's Stand - Lockport

My wife and I had just returned from a trip and stopped at Sonia's for dinner. It was quite busy. As one vehicle would leave another would pull in. I ordered the double cheeseburger and fries and my wife ordered a cheeseburger. There is a bit of a wait but it is definitely worth the wait. The food is fresh and hot. It tasted like homemade. There is a counter with salt, ketchup, vinegar, seasoning salt and napkins. There are picnic tables on each side of the building. Definitely worth stopping.

A rare place to get real home-made burgers, not the pre-made patties you get everywhere else. Very juicy & a little sloppy, just the way a god burger should be. Not the fanciest place, just good food. Prices are good for what you get. I'll be back for sure

Just tried Sonia's for the first time in years and was not disappointed. Burgers were homemade beef patties and were delicious. French fries were also great and orders plentiful. Definitely going back soon.

Most established burger place in Lockport. Nothing has changed from the original hamburgers that Sonia used to make. Same good quality.

Only open in the summer - but the very best double cheeseburgers around the area. You can call ahead and they'll have your order ready for you to pick up.
