Lockhart Cafe

Expect to pay WAY more than the displayed menu price. There is nothing that says their menu prices have changed. What should have been $11 turned out to be over $14. Kinda shady. My first visit probably will be my last.

They offer an awesome range of delicious food. I enjoyed dining here. Employees are always nice, pricing is affordable and the spot is always neat.

The food was very good the place was clean that was the biggest burger I've ever seen burger fries and tea for 8 bucks

This cafe is closed for now. I don't know what it will be next is why I only gave it one star, hopefully it will become something this area could need. If not food than something else

This restaurant surprisingly made a far better burger than I was expecting. Fries were also made well. They had to make a run to the store for canned sodas to poor into styrofoam cups as our drinks. The patty melt was served on bread, and was very greasy. When you first walk in it appears as though you 've entered into the store room for a middle school cafeteria. We were a very large group, and our bill was less than $60.00 with tip. They sat us in the big room which was a dimly lit bricked room with a few small booths along the walls. Very cozy so to speak. I ordered a cheeseburger and was served last after my order was forgotten. In the waiters defense, we were likely the largest group this small restaurant has ever had. Lots of locals came in as we are; many hunters, just saying. The people were very nice, but to be honest it was a bit uncomfortable, and a little unnerving that a professional restaurant would be so lacking even in a small (very very small town). Much of what was on the menu they did not have in stock; the special was hand written on a price of receipt paper. When paying they had a s low connection and it took a few minutes, but that 's no big deal. Neither is not having a working pen to sign my receipt. It was sad that the lady at the register didn 't know the prices and needed a menu to get the prices for our meals. More so sad that she constantly talked down or poorly about her very own place of business. I was uncomfortable throughout the entire experience.
