Another lovely meal from Adyan’s, I highly recommend their food lovely and fresh. All the food was delicious
What a find this was! We were passing on our way back from the local CO-OP store and spotted this unremarkable building which is a very good place to eat. There's a warm welcome, tasty food and a glass of wine for only £3.50. Well done to the couple who run it. Booking a table on a Saturday is recommended, they have a lot of regular customers. The town is picturesque and there's plenty of scenic walks and places to visit. Service: Dine in
Food here was Ok, tried the special king prawn masala, it was underwhelming, small prawns not king prawns, sauce was ok basically a tikka masala without the bright red food colouring, was a bit thin and yellow looking. The onion bhajis were kind of flat and slightly undercooked in the middle. Not too bad but not great. Naan was nice. The place smells of damp though instead of curry. And you could see the patches of damp on the walls I don't think I would go again. Service was friendly and the place was busy with quite a long wait for the food. My friend got the biryani, was way too much rice and not enough sauce, but they said it was nice.
Extremely good food and lovely people however the service was really bad. The staff consisted of one girl and a 10 year old boy who was serving everything including alcohol. They were lovely people and it was lovely food but it really doesn't make for a great night when you are waiting so long to be served and then nearly 2 hours for your food. The restaurant shouldn't be open if they have no staff. Great food but avoid unless you have plenty of time. A shame.
