Il Mestolo - Livorno

I've never experienced anything so bad. Unfortunately there is no competition on the campsite and in the surrounding area. Bad conditions, bad food and incredibly expensive. A small bowl, (supposedly) 3 portions of potato wedges cost €9. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20

We're here for a few days Campsite and here in the restaurant for the second time. Day 1: Pizza Calzone and Spaghetti Vongole. Both are great, quick service. Today for the 2nd time: starter small fries, marinated sardines and beef tartare, main course: mussels with tomato sauce and egg, pizza Miramare. Food was super tasty. Friendly service. Unfortunately they didn't have all the beers on the menu as stated and certain dishes were out of stock. Otherwise we were satisfied.

Unconscious. Zero stars. We went to this restaurant being guests of the campsite Miramare, for a dinner, the thing that gave us more trouble was the rudeness and arrogance of the lady who made the reservation and made us pay presumably the owner. We ordered as you can see from receipt various things including a first spaghetti to the drain, I asked a plentiful portion saying to be willing to pay a little more, she told me with arrogance they are already abundant, But if you want two, I said two are too many then she said 1and a half. Once the noodles were in my opinion a normal portion, including the rock was not there, two mussels and two moscardini without shrimps nor escapes... Also they were salty and spicy, which spicy do not do unless one asks it) made me pay €20 at the cash I noticed that a normal portion cost 12 at most had to do 18. He arrogantly told me that the prices are these unwritten) I gave him the money and threw the rest on the table. I think the lady needs to take a refreshment course in Romagna if not close soon, since they have already changed various gestures. Our friends in the table in front of the same problem of ours. I'd have other things to say, but I'm holding up. They won't see us anymore.

The food is fine but the service is very poor. You are even asked to leave the table after an hour to make room for new guests. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Very friendly service and good service. We were surprised at how delicious the food was. The daily changes to the menu are particularly commendable, which makes particular sense since we were there often because of the campsite.
