This place hit the spot. Small friendly and clean. Has what you need to keep you rollin' down the street...

The food has always been good, under new owners, but Cook was outstanding. The one that runs the front register could be more friendly. The nighttime shift could turn down his music so I could hear him. If you want to jam out, ok, but turn it down when there is a customer...lack of coffee. Is my only complaint.

Great chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy! Nice lil stop to break up our road trip

Our waitress left us unattended for the duration of our time there. Three out of our four orders where wrong, under cooked, and cold. There wasn't a single potato variation on any of our plates that was actually thoroughly cooked. I wish that was an exaggeration but you could literally audibly hear the crunch. I would have loved to bring this to our waitresses attention had she actually been paying attention to us. If the place were busy it wouldn't have bothered me so much, but it was our table and another. We had to ask for the same things multiple times to the point we actually had to go up to the counter to ask again because the lady was just standing there for several minutes. We weren't mad, we weren't rude, we had been driving for more then 10 hours with 3 kids and wanted hot food that wasn't from a drive through or a gas station. Our expectations were not high, like I said we wanted it hot and cooked but I wouldn't use either of those words to describe the food that was served to us. We ate what we could, paid our bill, and left.

I don?t know why people have an issue with this rest stop. It is absolutely spotless in the bathroom at the restaurant. I was told the showers are also spotless. We had so much room we opened our slides. The people are so nice, they make you feel like a welcomed guest. Is there noise in the truck stop, DUHHHH YES. And very long trains. Just what you should expect at a truck stop. With our fan on we didn?t have any trouble sleeping. We were safe (opened 24/7), friendly people and a truck repair station.
