Excellent food and service. both my main and the starter were top nodes, with the lammhaupt was one of the best I ever had!
For my starter I chose the roasted stuffed boneless ‘Catforth Lancashire’ quail with celeriac puree and a green apple and estragon jus – the court was beautifully presented and a certificate for the abilities of chef paul askew and his london carriage works liverpool community college team that they could produce food of this quality in their ‘Field kitchen’.
Great food. tastes,- texture and temperature combinations, of which they have never dreamt of combining themselves on a teller of absolute genius.
Beautiful place gorgeously decorated. Service was exceptional always there right when we wanted something and yet never obtrusive. We had afternoon tea to celebrate our daughter’s graduation, and the team made us feel very special. I need gluten and lactose free dishes, and the chefs really pushed the boat out to cater for me
