O Galito - Lisboa

We went here based on tripadviser reviews as we were staying locally and we were not dissapointed. The menu is all in portuguese, not ideal when none of us could translate. However the owner came to our table and explained everything to us, the level of friendly service is amazing here. We got the lamb stew and the chicken and they were both fabulous, washed down with a lovely recommended bottle of wine (herdade das servas, white). We had a fantastic night and for an authentic local portuguese night with genuine portuguese food, I could not recommend this place any higher.

I don’t think I’ve ever spent so much on a lunch for what it was. 90 euros for two soups, chicken and a bean with cod fish-along with wine couvert, coffee and one dessert. The staff was okay. Older men working there and they kind of seemed deflated by life. The food was okay, but nothing I’d be going back to eat.

Delicious food from the Portuguese Alentejo region. It's pricey but worth it!

This is, hands down, the best Alenteno restaurante that i've tried. I've been visinting, and eating there since i was a child, the restaurante has been through alot, it never disapoints. It's amazing.
