Rankin Vault Cocktail Lounge

First time there and it lives up to reputation in town as great food and cool staff.

Just had the slider it was incredible. I am making myself order the full burger now due to how good it was. Yes! While my edit doesn't change the 5 stars...the full on burger does not disappoint! The mac n cheese is hands down the best I've ever tasted. I'm well over 50. It was complex and creamy....unbelievable!

Absolute Asheville staple! Have lived here my whole life and this is one of my all-time favorite places for food and drinks.

Had two hot dogs. The second one Igot the kimchi on the side, and it was delicious! Also, it made the bacon and spicy mayo shine through. Highly recommend the kimchi on the side because it makes the bun wet. I love this hot dog like that!!! It's special. It will satisfy you deeply, but you need to get two.

The Rankin Vault Lounge slaps! The Polynesian Fried Chicken Sandwich was incredibly flavorful and fried to perfection. The beer and mixed drinks were all delicious, frosty, and VERY reasonably priced. As a first-time visitor to Asheville, I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for good eats any time of day, even late night! Next time in Asheville, I will be back to try the Vault Burger.
