Le Pyla c'est pas la - Limoges

This restaurant does not attract your eye from outside but it is a really good establishment. They have fresh fish and meat dishes according to what they have on the day and it is all very well prepared. Whilst children are welcome, they do not have child menu but can do smaller portion of their dishes. One of our kids wanted just ice cream for dessert and we had to be quite persuasive with the waitress to get it as it was not in the menu despite many dessert coming with it. They did it at the end but this was a bit shameful.But all in all a very good restaurant.

Always great to find a place where you are met with genuine a warm welcome and looked after by the staff. When you have wonderful food too in a charming setting you really cannot go wrong.

Brilliant! Quite central, near the cinema. Very friendly and attentive owners. We were placed upstairs in the window, it was sunny and we could people watch, hehe! The choice of food is great and during the week you can have special lunch menus (formule). We decided on the a la carte, my friend had the duck goujon (not breaded) with black cherries and parsnips creamy puree, cous cous timbale, green salad, chips. I had a steak (Limousin beef) with the same add ons. I have never eaten such a massive steak in my life, it was 20cmx15cm. It was so tender but of course I had it blue! We were told that everything is homemade and only the chips are frozen. It was a great restaurant for our final lunch before going to the airport! Would I return? Yes, definitely.

There is truely not a bad thing on the menu The eclectic variety pretty much guarantees there is something for everyone.
