O. m. g. where do I start, I have cake from day, steak and ale. the meat was so tender that it was melted by my fork the baked was so tender, the garden bakers tasted home as grown on our ally, followed by huge portion tweezers, and hand roasted chucky chips my wife had made to house fish finger in a ciabatta and chips, topf tee. plus 2 pints of afford, all for under £38.00 great friendly staff, special offers on regular good quality eat clean toilets, nice light, clean outdoor area with rugged wooden tables for 6 with 'stepping stone' sitting places, and half enclosed covered cabins with seat bench, and illuminated terrace food sitting area for evening, all with view over the market town friendly themeky girls today

Fabulous place for lunch which not only is dog friendly but serves a full menu at lunchtime in the centre of Leyburn. Ignore previous reviews about overcooked chips ! I knew as soon as I saw them these were twice cooked chips, was very excited and they lived up to my expectations. The burger was also huge and very tasty. Food was served quickly, staff were very friendly and efficient and decor was very clean and appealing too. Just a shame the husband wasn 't with us to sample the fare, oh well an excuse for a return visit soon then ;

Provided a warm and friendly haven for us at the end of a very damp day. We were cold and hungry. Nothing was too much trouble for them especially with catering for the two children in our party. We enjoyed a lovely meal and would visit more often if we didn’t live so far away.

We enjoyed a lovely meal here, my granddaughter said that it was the best steak she had eaten in a long time. The food presentation was excellent. The pub and restaurant were very clean and the staff were attentive. Lovely outdoor eating areas.

Just nipped in after a good walk before the rain hit. Had a couple of drinks and some chips. Nice friendly atmosphere, dog friendly to. Outside area looked good, but luckily they let us sit indoors with our furbabies. Average prices, chips were ok. Would definitely use again.
