Eating was nice! very reasonable prices! I recommend the tower burger mmmmm! it was quiet and family oriented. loved the children corner large thumbs up for that! xx thanks again only one tad on the cold side tho

We loved this place, it was so peaceful. It’s in a good location and the lodges are very well appointed and maintained. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. The on site bar/restaurant is decent and not pricey. The hot tubs were a great extra. We will definitely come back again.

Exceeded our expectations. The lodges are furnished and cleaned to a high standard, staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. All the touches of a high end hotel (towels, robes, toiletries etc) alongside the privacy and laid back feeling of a self catering holiday. The personal hot tub was peaceful and private, tested every day and refilled if needed. The on-site bar did really nice hearty food and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely peaceful location and it was so great to unwind and enjoy some time out. Will definitely be returning.

Lodges are perfect, hot tubs well maintained and clean. On site restaurant staff are super friendly and efficient. Food in restaurant is tasty but needs to be served hotter, also venue itself too cold when sitting for evening meal.

Fantastic site, nicely laid out and the lodges are really good. The children's playground and adventure golf are great and our kids especially enjoyed how you could just help yourself to the golf. The on site restaurant was surprisingly good too with excellent service and delicious food. The views and surroundings are spectacularly beautiful and its a great base for walking or cycling. It's worth noting there is not a whole lot of attractions locally if visiting with younger kids although Forbidden Corner is great and there's some other nice low key places too. The only let down was a lack of attention to detail in the lodge things like remote controls not working, no hooks to hang all the towels and hot tub gowns, sticking front door, unclean fan vents, leaking toilet, very poor selection of cutlery and crockery, no welcome pack or instructions, rubbish dishwasher, etc. Nothing major and they didn't spoil it for us but its these small things that make all the difference when they are done well!
