The French Goat - Lewisburg

My wife and I were here today to celebrate her birthday. I expected the meal to be good, but it exceeded our expectations in every respect: I just came back from a trip to Europe and this place gives a run for his money wherever I eat on this continent. Great atmosphere, excellent service and amazing food. We will definitely come back.

That was my first time I tried French cuisine. The prices were somewhat intimidated, but I have to say that I was not disappointed at all. In fact, my expectations were exceeded. My only complaint is that I didn't know what to order because everything looked so good! The picked goat cheese appetizer is very good. The coffee was also pretty good. The actual showstopper, however, was the duck Benedict. I've never had a duck, so I was skeptical to try it especially because it's on the pricier side. But my God is worth every penny. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The duck wasn't fat at all. The English muffin was as light and fluffy as a newly formed cloud. And not to mention that heavenly, golden Hollandaise sauce. In my opinion, the Hollandaise was just a bit too buttery, but that's just me knit picking. My mother ordered the quiche. I'm not the biggest fan of quiche, but a bite of it has completely changed my mind. I will try 100% every Sunday to go there!

This place is absolutely amazing!! We celebrated my niece's birthday. We were never there. The decor was beautiful. The atmosphere was welcoming and the dishes and cocktails were above the top!! I had the goat burger who was cooked for perfection. Our server was attentive and you could say that she loved her job. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Five stars!

Phenomenal experience. Last night we had dinner in Prime 44, which was great, but felt very commercial or like a franchise. Unlike this dinner, The French Goat felt like a very personal experience. The food was excellent and from the heart. The service team was equally phenomenal. Promote small businesses.

My boyfriend and I came in for dinner, we were pleasantly surprised at the charm of the place. Glad to see everyone was dressed to code. Staff was knowledgeable and so friendly. We have always spent our time at the greenbrier but decided to venture out and we are so glad we did. The food was amazing. The prices for wine bottles were fairly cheap. The dessert is a must. 10/10 recommend.
