Sanborn's - León de los Aldama

Went there while in a conference in the hotel upstairs from the restaurant. Ordered a tortilla soup, mole enchiladas, and a orange beverage.The avocado served with the soup wasn't ripe at all, and the drink was fermented!Worst part was that both the waitress and the cashier not even cared when I complained about both of this issues.

The place is very nice the staff very friendly the food is not good at all it was like eating Mexican food in an American restaurant.. They are not authentic at all. In Mexico that is unexplainable because it should be as authentic as possible.. And it's a bit pricey for one persons meal and you are looking at about $25 usd

Always crowded, food is awful but the worst is the service. Seems they only hire unfriendly and dumb people.

If you are scared to eat Mexican food, then come and try it at Sanborns. This chain offers Mexican food in a very clean setting. This is the only place in Mexico that my mother will eat because it is always clean.

Dependable in Leon as it is elsewhere in Mexico. Waitresses colorfully dressed. Priced a bit high for standard dishes. A good place to relax with a pot of tea.
