The restaurant Jácome is located at Leça da Palmeira, 15-20 min from Porto by car but very near the beach. The place is well known for the fish, freshly arrived from the sea nearby, which I totally recommend, specially for those who love quality fresh fish, not frozen. The place is cozy, the staff is nice and friendly, the price is a bit high, but that's normal when concerns fresh fish. As a group of 5 we chose Linguado, Robalo and Arroz de marisco, all of them great, specially the amazing Açorda de Ovas, accompanying the Linguado and the Robalo.
Recently I had a business dinner at Jácome. The starters were the suggestion of the waiter. The pimentos Padron, squid, small mackerels and alheira were on point. The advised wines with our main dish were Bons Ares (white wine) and Quinta da Santa Cristina (green wine). The fish was sea bass a la basco. What a meal!Definitely a place to visit again and again.
