Restaurant Le Cafe Francais - Le Dorat

A rich terrine, a wonderful turkey bourguignon and a clafoutis aux pommes maison to finish, add a carafe of the house red and a coffee served for less than €20.00 hervé excellent value for good food.

Ok, that was a Monday, and everyone who knows that it can be difficult to find a resto that is open, but what a simple cracking found that was. delicious eating, great wine list, although we had the house red, what. was a very acceptable bergerac, and very pleasant and helpful staff. the food was all fresh and clear to house made the terrain was delightful and bite steaks and pintade were a tasty bite. leave them a little space because the cheese selection looked good, but I was very excited about the tiramisu!

My family and I came here last Monday (12th juni), including my two young daughters. it was promising to start when the cook came to see us and explain what he could do for the children. but from there it failed. to supply. I asked for medium-heavy, rare steak, which was practically raw and very hard. the roasted potato were burned. my daughter was looking forward to her filled courgettes, but they were only cut with a piece of sausage meat. the children have pasta and a hamburger, we thought they were sticking with a kind of meat and sauce. the waiting staff was very helpful.

We have been eating in le dorat for almost 10 years, but have never eaten here. friends of us told us that they had a new cook and it could be worth a visit and it was. eating is quite right forward with a...Set menu and a few choice wein is also good for france and cheap. the chef and the Barman/Waiter were very pleasant and we will call each other in the city. I am gluten-free and managed to navigate the menu, but not specifically a gluten-free restaurant.

My daughter was looking forward to her stuffed courgettes, but were just sliced courgettes with a lump of sausage meat. The children has pasta and one hamburger, we thought they were getting paste with some sort of meat and sauce.The waiting staff were very helpful though.
