We were welcomed by the restaurant (and hotel) owner, Mr, Stevan Jordan and were seated in a lovely setting on the terrace. The service was very courteous, prompt and efficient. Mr. Jordan was very freindly and helpful in wine and food selection. But the main issue, of course, is the food- and it was Fantastic! Every dish was a feast for the eyes and and tongue, a masterpiece of colour, design and taste. It was soooooo good, we enjoyed every bite and every second.A superb experience, excellent value for money, in a friendly, home-like atmosphere, with heavenly food. We shall definitely come back!
We were taken to this lovely restaurant (which is in the middle of nowhere) by some friends who live nearby. The restaurant is owned and run by a English couple who have run it for a number of years. The chef is French. The restaurant offers a fixed price menu which demands on the number of courses eaten. We chose to have 3 courses which cost €34. It was excellent value and offered a wide selection. For our appetisers our party had foie gras, gravlax, salad, scallops. For main courses we chose sweetbreads, duck, chicken stuffed with foie gras and pork loin. All plates were beautiful presented and perfectly cooked though one of our guests would have preferred if his sweetbreads had been slightly crispier.,though he admitted this was a minor quibble. The wine list features a number of local wines and is sensibly priced. The service was excellent despite the restaurant being full. Overall a lovely evening in an excellent restaurant. It is well worth making the effort to visit it.
One of the nicest meals we had in France, in a lovely setting. Staff welcomed us.We went with our two kids and the children's menu was good and good value. I like it when the children's menu isn't just sausage and chips, they got the same number of courses as us and the amuse bouches as well.Highly recommended, we would definitely go again. It's not cheap but I think it represents good value
