John and Cook's BBQ - Lawton

Love the food never ever ever had a complaint. But as a business owner i know what it means to show EVERYONE kindness and respect tpu treat each and every customer like they are QUEENS OR KINGS of it doesn't matter because they are number 1# they have they're order as they requested apon order. The ownership or management towards some is lacking greatly I spent nearly $80.00 dollars with a family 5 and was treated with inpatients and as if my business meant nothing to them. I know in business everyone matters. But no matter caused the food is absolutely DEVINE. Indubitably

A different flair of sauce flavor for a good change, more of a chili emphasis, which was unexpected. Unfortunately the ribs and pulled pork were pretty dry, which had me using more sauce that covered most of the flavor. I would love to catch the meat straight out of resting from the smoker for more true taste. The cafe style dining area was quaint and a nice home town feel. Not a full chili inspired BBQ fan, but only lowering to 4 stars for the dryness of the meat.

Was looking for good ribs that wasn't a chain and John Cook delivers. Ribs and pulled pork dinner. Ribs were juicy and flavorful. Pulled pork cooked perfectly and good with bread and coleslaw. BBQ sauce was warm and spiced well (not too sweet)

I witnessed a couple eat AMAZING food. They CLEARLY enjoyed their food. Went to the car, littered, and then came in and asked for a refund. Along with cooking amazing BBQ, the owner of the establishment has poise and passion. I watched him pick up the litter they threw out of the car and then handle the BOGUS claim with poise. Even though they took advantage of him, he handled it with a smile on his face. This family works hard and it shows. 10/10 will visit again when I feel like BBQ.

I didn't have to wait long and the dinner was excellent. The owner was kind as well. It was truly a great place to get Barbecue.
