Barrel Heads - Lawrenceburg

Sauce was a little sweeter than I like but everything was very delicious. Loaded mashed taters and honey smothered cornbread. The lunch special brisket was very tender and juicy. 7/10 would recommend Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

Our waitress came out and asked if she could start us of with drinks. I told her I wanted something strong. I asked for a martini dirty. Gin. She said she didn't want to know what kind of a day it was. We had to bury my father. She tapped me on my shoulder. She came back with our drinks and took our order. I got the bourbon barrel burger. My wife got the Nashville chicken sandwich. The bourbon bacon sauce on the burger is amazing. Onion straws are salty and light. Just a great combination. My wife's sandwich was beautiful. It has a brussel sprout slaw on it that we are definitely trying to going to copy. Anyway when she came back with our check she stayed with us and talked about my father. It was really sweet. We actually came across the place the day after my Dad past. Work told me to go home and grieve. So we went for a drive going no where. Just wound up driving by. Will definitely be coming back to try the smoked meatloaf with the bourbon glaze on it.............it's been a few weeks. We came back and I got the meatloaf. It is tasty . The sauce is sweet and sticky. The green beans are good. Little bit of onion and bacon in them. But the mashed potatoes made me smile. Must be a pound of butter in them. the texture was fenomanal. The flavor. . I could come back just for a plate of them.
