Tukpeki - Laval

We discovered this awesome little Korean restaurant that may be the best Korean food in all of the Laval Montreal area. Tukpeki is a small restaurant on the corner of Chomedey and Notre-Dame in Laval, and the food here is amazing. Perfectly portioned dishes that are so flavourful...we had the vegetarian Bibimbap, fried chicken, a Ragout, and a crepe.The taste of each dish was different from your everyday asian food, everything was so good.It's definitely worth going out of your way to try the food here, you will certainly enjoy the taste experience!

This place was delicious. I have had Korean BBQ but I 've never been to an authentic Korean restaurant before. I was a little intimidated so I asked what would be the least spiciest thing I can deal with.His only 2 questions where do you like more meat or more vegetables? Do you like pork or beef? We ended up getting the Beef Dupbab which came with purple rice and kimchi. It came out in a hot cast iron bowl (think fahita at Mexican resto) and it was amazing!We also ordered the boneless fried chicken with honey garlic sauce. Again amazing! It came with kimchi that was homemade and so crunchy!Honestly I can 't give this place a good enough rating, I 'm excited to go back and be braver with my choices next time. Maybe medium spicy and maybe try the Topokki. To top it off I had a nice conversation with the owner about his time in Korea. Please try it out Laval needs places like this!

Amazing place, amazing staff and amazing tasty food! The staff takes special care of its customers and they give a good value of food for such low prices. Always a pleasure going there
