Kpf Kitchen - Laurel

The food is very authentic and delicious. I have been visiting this restaurant at least once a week since I discovered it a couple of months ago. I tried their Biriyani, Lamb, Tandoori dishes…never been disappointed!

I have tried this place for couple of times now. Their dosas are on point tasty. The indo chinese menu also is nice,. Service is great. I think they still dont have liquor license hopefully they get it soon.

The decor was quaint and very authentic to the Indian culture down to the Bollywood movie that was showing and the Indian music. There was a little wait but that was more of them giving us time to peruse the menu. I ordered the lamb curry that was excellent. The lamb was well seasoned but the curry did not overpower the flavor of the lamb. The bismati rice was light and fluffy delicious. The mango lassi also was good. I did not have any issues with the quality of the food or the price. The only thing that I would improve upon would be design of the bathrooms. They definitely need some attention.

Pongall is now the new Indian restaurant in Laurel, replacing Banana Leaf, and before that Godavari. The prices have gone up a bit, but so has the service and the quality of the food. We have tried their biriyani, several goat and lamb curries, several dosas and appetizers. None have disappointed. It is also the kind of place where they remember your name and treat you like family.

The menu is extensive here, the food is GREAT!! Lots of variety with Southern and Northern delicacies. Avik and Pavan are very professional and really courteous. We can't wait to try all the different Dosa options.
