Arahova Souvlaki - Lasalle

Dropped by last week to pick up a couple of gyro sandwiches, very good, not too much sauce and fresh ingredients did the trick. It's also been nicely renovated, very clean and I will definitely go back.

We came here for a late dinner after a training session.Located on Newman Blvd. in Lasalle,The outside terrace is a nice size with protection from the rain.The food was very good at a reasonable price,but arriving an hour before closing we figured we would be rushed,,not at all the staff went above and beyond to keep six of us happy ,even when the rain came down the waitress kept joking and letting us move under the canopy.Will definitely return not only for the good food,but also for the great service.

It's like the majority of this kind of restaurant. fortunately we had a gift certificate because I wouldn't like to pay the price that wasn't worth it.

We were a party of 4 and came here for dinner on a Thursday evening. I would say that there was 2 other tables occupied at the time so the restaurant was not very busy.Our server was patient and helpful, giving us more information of the choices on the menu.We ordered appetizers of tzatziki (which came with slices of garlic bread) and deep-fried breaded calamari. The tzatziki tasted fresh while the calamari was hot and not too oily.Our main meals comprised of the souvlaki plates and a calamari plate. The calamari plate came with its own standalone plate of salad, in addition to rice pilaf and potatoes. The souvlaki plates were also generous with the pitas being filled by the meat and vegetables, along with plenty of fries.Overall, service was attentive (my water glass was filled repeatedly whenever my glass was low) and our orders were cooked fairly quickly. All in all, it was a satisfying dining experience.

Food is expensive for what you get, and is just not quality stuff. Bland and boring, as are the desserts. Very disappointing, years ago they used to be much better. They cut items out of the menu and the quality is just not there. The staff are uninterested and would rather be elsewhere. Try casa greque instead.
