El Pollo Loco - Las Vegas

Worst el pollo loco in town. Bad settings and several occasions have given us waste quality food, or completely confused our order.

Don't go to El Pollo Loco. I literally waited in the drive for almost 30 minutes when I arrived, there were about five vehicles in front of me. Under normal circumstances, I might expect a ten-minute waiting period. After waiting for half an hour, I finally got my food, just to find that they didn't give me my full order after they pulled out. I parked immediately and tried to walk in, but the door was locked. I knocked and was completely ignored, I finally found the phone number and called. The woman who answered the phone refused to open the door to give me my missing taco, she told me that I was more than welcome to drive back to the car thru. Are you serious? 30 minutes in the ride thru already and you expect me to do it again. It would also not issue a refund for the missing taco, not that the costs are important, but that was not a cheap taco, regardless of whether it is a matter of principle. Needless to say, I have never received the Taco or a refund. I am completely disgusted and can assure you that I never spend another penny at any el pollo loco location.

We are here once or twice a month, beginning 8 or 10 years ago, or when they opened. The food is usually quite decent... until tonight. We used the ride and ordered two family chicken dinners, we received a second in the pick-up window. When we came home, we spread the feast of the Mother's Day, and six of us buried. Unfortunately, the chicken we received tonight was definitely NOT the normal food we get. The chicken was over boiled and very dry. It seemed that we got a chicken that had been put far too long under the heat lamp. We ate (one had to go so that we had no time to return the bad food). I would just recommend NOT old, overcooked, dried chicken to your customers. Some skin was so dry and crispy, my son jokingly chomped it very loud. Will we come back? Most likely, as I said, usually the food here is great. Please serve fresh (or fresher) chicken. We could get the ride through and get to make sure our next order comes on the way. The pages were decent.

Worst customer service in a really long time. I've been here for years. I don't care to wait, but the rude/disrespectful behaviour of the staff is not known. They hit the window in my face, couldn't even ask for salsa or my missing drink.

Well... once again eating fast food bit me in the gullet. I ordered the family dinner. For the most part the chicken was done. Sides were tasty, with the exception of the family salad was a complete let down... unlike the menu photo showing an opulence of vegetables, I was instead greeted with a complete and total salad well past its prime. The salad was completely inedible. It smelled rotten. How long does a freshly pre prepared last anyways? 3-5 days maybe. So shame on you for passing this on to me, and shame on me for shelling out good money for an old salad. Check out the avocado. I warned you!
