After dining we adjourned to a couch by the fire to enjoy dessert and after dinner drinks. Lovely, romantic night out. Salute to Salud!
Pastry of baked brie was sticky and there was hardly any brie. They didn't charge for it when we complained. The ahi tuna was seared in oil that was starting to go bad. There was a change in waiters, and bread was not brought to our table. We only knew the restaurant serve bread when we saw it served to another customer at the end of our meal. We were charged $3.00 for hot water, which was removed when we called it to the waiter's attention. Disappointing and we would not return.
Salud! has replaced another restaurant which we used to enjoy at this location and we were concerned as to what we might encounter, but to our delight the food was very good. We enjoyed Tapas and a very good fillet of local New Mexico beef. We recommend both. The manager came to our table and spent time explaining his vision for the restaurant and we appreciated that very much.
Wonderful spot for dinner or lunch in Las Cruces. Food is flavorful and nicely presented. Service was a bit unorganized, but that is typical for a new restaurant. Would definitely come back to try other menu items.
This was my fourth dining experience here, and I live one state (and 700 miles) away. I continue to bring friends here because the atmosphere is so warm, there is such a variety of delicious options and the location is so ideal. I could eat here every single day if I lived closer by!
