Hungry Dan's - Lapeer

I tried this restaurant for the first time and it was amazing. The 4-piece chicken dinner was fantastic. Our waitress, Jennifer, was excellent and efficient. She quickly cleared our plates as soon as we finished. The restaurant was clean and overall a great experience. I will definitely be returning.

A reliable diner with delicious pancakes and other good menu options, although the hash browns were a bit dry. The building could use some maintenance, with cracked pavement outside and worn booths inside from the many customers seeking breakfast and comfort food. Overall, not a bad place to eat with good service.

The majority of the staff at this restaurant are attractive. However, when they come to your table, they take only a few seconds to ask about the food. Stephanie was consistently helpful whenever we dined here. The food is delicious and consistently well-prepared.

The same good comfort food you remember but they have new owners and have taken all the interesting decorations off the walls and it's kind of plain and uninteresting now. The waitress said they'll be tearing the place down soon too, so if you like this place there's not much time. Too bad. Hard to understand someone who'll buy a restaurant and then tear it down. Even if they build another restaurant in its place, it's like starting from scratch.

Dear Hungry Dan is for the most part. The service is always social and friendly and the food is always quite good. But the buffet went out the other day and that really disappoints me. Nice breakfast buffet and breakfast.
