It didn't come to dinner. Because although reserved via open table, I would be cancelled by phone shortly before. The reason was that you wanted to miss out on such guests, as the hotel guests are more important. Okay, I can still see somewhere, but why do you leave reservations about open table at all. No word of excuse on the phone. They wanted to test this for a bigger celebration, but it certainly did.
We had reserved at 12:00 and stood at the restaurant for 5 minutes without anyone coming. We only had to draw attention to us in the kitchen. A less beautiful start. The menu corresponded to the available in advance via OpenTable. We chose the day soup (carrot ginger) and the bacon cheese tarte as an appetizer. The soup was ok, the tart was more of a piece of sheet metal cake with a ‘little’ floor should not happen to a professional. In the main course we had decided for the Ossombuko with Risotto and the Wiener Schnitzel with roast potatoes. The risotto was sadly fried, the roasted potatoes with a bowl, too much bacon and onion, which was also very black. The better the scavengers were very tough, which was certainly also because the meat thickness varied in a piece between 0.3 and 1.2 cm. For a chef who also spent his hiking years in Austria a no go. It was nice to see some cranberries on request. The service was friendly and endeavored, but I expect in the price class that the removal will not be combined and stacked.
