The first time. I went for the oxen and they were pretty good. The greens were good, but something too salty. Mac and cheese were dry. I tasted it and it was good, but dry. The sweet potato cakes and lemonades??? I will return, there is so much more I want to try!!!

I feel like a fool who hasn't tried so far. I ordered the roasted chicken that has the most unique crabs I've ever had. I loved it. The macaroni was good and cheesy, the yams were sweet and tender, the greens were pretty good and were spicy. Oh, and the green apple limonade was good. I recommend them and I'll be safe.

This is the best restaurant I visited in California. We had the Jumbo shrimp, 1/2 chicken w/ grits Gravy, chicken with fries, and peach kicker. The service was fast and they were very friendly and professional. I was really impressed by their facility; it was very clean and modern. We will definitely be back!!!

I'm not sure what happened here, whether it was a change in the chefs or the recipe, but regardless of that, this was the worst catfish smugges and fries I've ever had!! No fleakey fish, only hard-fried like potato chips. I gave this place more than enough opportunities to impress me, only I was disappointed. It's a shame because I like Randy, but if he's absent, the quality changes.

We ordered lunch for a bunch of family who came to town. The restaurant wasn?t too busy, but either way, we got undivided attention from the staff, super friendly conversation, and most importantly, delicious food!!! The eggs are soft and fluffy, the chicken sausage was fantastic, and the fried chicken was so good that we fought over it! By far our favorite were the yams. We highly recommend it!
