Dj's Taste Of The 50's - Lancaster

I went to the DJ's Taste of the 50's yesterday for the first time. I've been there since I was a kid. I was very happy with the service. Danny, I think his name was an excellent server. And the food was fantastic. I had the barnyard that was a burger with spinach and bacon and a fried egg. It was one of the best burgers I ever had. I highly recommend this place.

The service was great. The staff was attentive and our girl was sweet. Tommy was excellent, we thought he had the place!! We loved the fries and shake. Great, fun place for lunch... many choices on the menu. I love it!

My wife and four children here. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered a lot. Our server, Betty Sue was amazing above the top. Very friendly, competent and helpful. The atmosphere was exactly what you want from a '50s inspired diner. If we were locals, we'd be here all the time. If you like diners and are in the area, you will not be disappointed by DJ 's

The servers were friendly and attentive, and although they missed a couple of minor details, that didn't detract from the experience. The burger and fries were quite tasty, but the real highlight was the SHAKE—definitely get one! My peanut butter and honey shake was packed with flavor. Plus, the decor has a fun 50s vibe that adds to the atmosphere. BAD: There’s not much to complain about, but don’t expect an extensive menu like you might find in a typical diner. About 80% of the offerings are variations of burgers and fries. They do have some salads and a few sandwiches, but the emphasis is really on burgers and fries. If that’s what you’re in the mood for, you’ll love it—the shakes are definitely the star of the show!
