Spice Lounge Norbury - Lambeth

We had made a reservation for a group, so we didn't just walk in. We were disappointed to find empty starter trays and had to wait for them to be filled. Even then, the chicken tikka was cold and lacked flavor. The main dishes were mostly sauce with very little meat. We waited again, only to find out there was no naan bread available. Dessert options were limited to a dry chocolate cake or a few slices of melon. The service was poor and disorganized. We raised our concerns while we were there and were only offered a complimentary coffee as an apology.

I have had good Indian food in both the US and Australia, but this experience surpassed my expectations. The Indian food at this restaurant is excellent and flavorful, with a nice, comforting spice level. The setting is elegant and the atmosphere is welcoming. I have dined here four times and plan to return soon. The staff is very gracious and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We recently attended a family party at this restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. The dishes were well-seasoned and they were able to accommodate all of our dietary preferences.

I've eaten in restaurants all over the world and I'm happy this place is so close by. The starters are what this place is all about with a nice cold beer.

It's one of our favourite weekend destination. The food is great and the staff is friendly. Could be late service on weekends but worth the wait!
