Barona Oaks Steakhouse - Lakeside

The food here is amazing, but it is so a summer that only platinum or diamond members can dinate here now

Not worth the price. I took my team for dinner on Friday night 13 Dec. and wanted to treat them to a beautiful place as a holiday dinner. There were 6 of us and the food was relatively good, but the service was terrible. My wife ordered the ribbed eye well and it came out very ****. When we told our server, it should be good that he took it back and said they would cook it longer. It wasn't like ****, but still red in the middle. We asked another server to take him back. The third time it was okay. Our server apologized say he thought she said medium. She eats like everyone was done before she got her plate back. Two things really hang with me. At first they have restored the original steak 2 times as she had cut it in the middle to check it so when she got it back, it was still cut in the middle. They would think they would cook a new steak to ensure that all juices were sealed. Especially for the price we paid. Secondly, it was really her fault and they did nothing to compensate for the mistake. We all tried to have a great night, but it was ruined for them since they had to wait while everyone else was eating. No discount, no free desert, nothing just an apology from our server. The cost came to 475.00 with an 80.00 including satisfaction, which was much too much for the service we got. If the tip had been optional, I would have stiffened the server to offer nothing in return for the bad service. So here is my proposal, as I am a frequent patron of Barona, and I am so disappointed with this visit. Don't waste your time or money in this place. Go to Sage. We were never disappointed there and the service is fantastic. The steaks are super the service is top notch and the price is half the cost. I hope the management sees this post as I feel when you pay relatively 50 to 60 dollars per record the experience, service and food should be perfect.

Best steakhouse ever, service is incredible, food fabulous, ambience excellent, piano player unbelievable if you ever get a chance, its value on the trip and prices for the amount of food you receive. The cream cr...delicious

This restaurant is obviously one of the most attractive places in the neighborhood. Every time I go there, I'm really happy. They receive their very high service and the top level of meals they give. You will always be satisfied with this place. Very recommended.

Not impressed with this places food. I know what good wagyu tastes like and their food did not wow me at all. Their lobster was chewy and their steak was full of fat. I wasn?t impressed only reason why they?re getting one star is because I enjoyed their mashed potatoes. Everything else we ate we were not pleased with. I had chunks and veins of fat inside my steak not on the outside it was disgusting I couldn?t eat it. I always eat steak and it never has that much fat in it. I also wasn?t impressed with this dessert menu the two desserts we wanted they said they were out of. I would never come back and eat here!!
