Our group of eight (4 adults / 4 kids) were camping in Algonquin Park and decided to drive into town for a nice dinner.
I recently had a fantastic birthday dinner with my wife at this restaurant. We both loved the atmosphere, main courses, and desserts. The vintage classic look of the place added to the overall experience.
This restaurant is off the beaten path from Huntsville, but well worth the Drive. It's a very cozy place, the tables are well set up and the chairs are very comfortable. It's a very inviting place on the side of a lake. The food was just amazing, we were a group of 4 on business. We had steaks, trout and wild Boar. The service was top notch and very friendly.I would recommend for business, pleasure, with family for any occasion.I really enjoyed the atmosphere, location, staff and especially the food.
I had not been back to this fine dining place in the middle of the woods for 35 years. I was delighted to find that it was still an excellent bistro, with trout to die for. The prices are not cheap for Muskoka, but not outrageous. The setting is pleasant, overlooking the lake, and the services was polished, and friendly. Everything was more or less the way it was when I was last here. Unfortunately, that included the faux peel-and-stick tile in the men's washrooom stall that is now peeling off and badly needs replaced. Other than that, It was wonderful.
