Nothing special about the food. Ordered several small plates and bass dinner. Dinner fish did not smell fresh. Must have been an off night. Restaurant was almost empty.
We went here with my parents and kids and it is very rare that everyone is happy with their meal in this group. Overall the foo0d is great. It is like having your own personal chef. Wide variety of choices. My daughter and mom each had tacos which are a great value. I had the teriyaki chicken which was nice and moist. My father the teriyaki salmon which he enjoyed. My son had the meatball sliders which were very good. The desserts were excellent as well. And both times I went I had the chips and guacamole. The chips are awesome. Overall a great meal and I will go back.
We just happened by this place a few months ago and can't help but come back at least 2x a month. Food is consistently good (love the meat balls and lemon Caesar salad is TO DIE FOR ...my husband always talks about trying something different and ends up ordering the Bacon Parmesan Crème Spaghetti (it IS ridiculous! . Such friendly staff, too. We understand it's a family owned biz run by a few brothers and sisters! Love, love it!
Comfortable family owned in a strip center in Lake Forest. We had a lovely dinner on the outdoor patio. The menu was casual and somewhat limited only a few entrees, pizza, small plates, salads and a few sides. Waiter was a bit slow, but conscientious when he arrived at our table. Great deserts, particularly the afogato and berries and cream. The lovely night on the terrace made it a good experience.
