Always good. hard to understand employees who don't speak well
Stopped for lunch at about 2pm on a Friday. Not busy at all. I got the Pick 2: French onion soup and Green Goddess salad. It came with a large piece of crusty bread. The soup was piping hot and delicious. The salad was fresh and also delicious. Husband got the chicken sandwich and we both got the Strawberry Lemon Mint drinks. Everything was good, little wait time.
I've been here before, and each time the food just gets better. I highly recommend what I had today: a "pick 2" combination featuring a spicy chicken sandwich with a side of mac and cheese.
I used to really enjoy visiting this place. The food is still fresh, but it doesn't stand out anymore. While prices have gone up at many restaurants, I no longer feel that Panera offers good value for the money. The biggest issue, however, is the attitude of the staff. I've experienced rude and unfriendly service from employees who seem to think they are working in a high-end Michelin star restaurant. The irony is that I've received much better treatment in far more upscale establishments. I don't expect to be pampered, but I do expect basic politeness, especially since I always treat others that way. They really need to check their egos; after all, they're just serving soup and sandwiches.
