'umalu - Lahaina

After a week to try new things, we just wanted chickens tender and fries and this is hard to find in Maui. I found this restaurant on Hyatt on the promenade and it served us well with our desire. I also got a dirty monkey, our server gave me two glasses with the second just over mix, the main drink was definitely too strong, but the second glass with the left part was a perfect mix. Definitely not disappointed.

Beautiful atmosphere next to the beach, the bar staff is great. The food is good, even though I had severely broken the fish and chips. The pulpits are a foot long and very good. Fish Tacos were fresh and the Ahi salad was fresh. There is a Hawaiian ice cream right next to Umalu. The staff was always quick to help and we enjoyed it very much.

We ate a lot to eat here while we were in the Hyatt Regency. Everything was good, including the service, only the prices were very high. Frozen cocktails were almost $20 everyone who made it hard to sit by the pool and drink all day.

We ordered pizza margherita and garden-plant pizza. We wanted to try the pineapple pizza, but since it was ham cooked garden vegetables with pineapple for the small additional costs happy about it. Wood frided taste was good, but not seasoned. Children Mac Cheese was good

Amazing service and excellent food, wait staff go above and beyond especially Lexi!! The bar staff are bar none! Much props to Jocelyn, Andy , Austin and Rob . I also noticed that the manager was onsite often and often times would assist staff with anything that needed to be done (leading by example is rare these days) if you are in the area or staying at the Hyatt regency for sure make a point to come to Umalu!
