The space was lovely. The staff were kind, efficient, quick and attentive. The time it took for the food to be prepared was longer than usually for a Sushi Bar. It was not overly busy but maybe they were short staffed.For our family, the food was bland and textures were kinda off. The people we were with seemed to enjoy their food and drinks. However what they shared with me was bland and seemed off textured.The tempura ice cream has a weird taste and texture that did not seem like what we are used to when ordering that dessert. It made me think of cornflakes with tempura batter: The amount of ice cream was massive which is the opposite of the portion sizes for the rolls.The Pork Belly Ramen Soup was a nice size.Wish the food was as awesome as the staff.My family will not go back but other people seemed to like the food.To each their own.

Amazing food! Staff was great. A little loud, but a good energy in the place. Pretty good Sake selection too.

The ambiance is very fun and energetic. I stayed nearby for a couple of work trips and each time I passed by it's always been packed. They have a cool patio and lots of small groups of people hanging out. Friends, dates, after work happy hours, etc. Pretty cool vibe. I ordered 3 different types of rolls and they all were pretty good. What hindered my dining experience was being seated in front of the sushi bar and witnessing two different chefs handle the raw fish with their bare hands. I can't remember ever seeing this at a sushi restaurant, ever. They always have on gloves. To make matters worse I saw one gentlemen itch his ear, remove his ear buds and place them on the cutting counter, and another guy with a very long beard with no sort of guard to catch falling hairs. I really almost walked out after seeing this but realized my chef thankfully was the 1 guy actually following what would be expected sanitary food prep protocol. I read through a couple of other reviewers mention the same thing about no gloves and long hair or beard with nothing to keep it in place. Really this is gross. It ruined an otherwise pleasurable dining experience. My server was bubbly, friendly, and friendly quick. I think the restaurant itself is very cool but management (and possibly the health department? needs to get things in line.

Love, love, loved this place! Took my daughter here as a pick-me-up since she'd just broken up with her boyfriend and the food and atmosphere here did just the trick! Our server was amazing and was able to recommend some great food choices. Nothing we ordered disappointed us. The drinks and sushi were all great! You can't go wrong here and we'll definitely be back.

Some of the best rolls I've had in a long while! I will definitely be returning. The service was great, good was awesome, and atmosphere was nice for a girls night out. I'll be back next week!Food: 5/5
