Fowler House Kitchen - Lafayette

We had a delicious lunch in the fowler house! we both had the cajun garnel and granates and chocolate mousse and were very satisfied with both. I recommend fowler house kitchen for an interesting meal in a unique environment. excellent service, excellent eating.

Last minute reservation for our Purdue grad. Had a wonderful lunch and loved the atmosphere!!

The building is lovely, but we were not near any windows and so it feels a bit like you're sitting in a cave. The waitress was nice, but never came back to fill our drinks or ask if we needed anything else until she asked about dessert. We both ordered grilled cheese with tomato sandwiches and they were not hot, the cheese was not melted. It was like they put two pieces of toast on cheese, added tomatoe and cut it in half. French fries were good, although not hot. It took quite a while to get our food and, frankly I didn't think they were all that busy. I will go back to give it another chance, but was disappointed after all I had heard.

I was so excited for the experience, but the service was very erratic, our app didn’t get put thru until we asked about it, again … about half the entrees were unflavorful so we didn’t each much. My shrimp cocktail tasted off, but I ate it. Was not what I had hoped for, disappointed, sorry. I would give it another shot sometime, because it is beautiful. One staffer was so kind to take family photos outside after lunch.

Nice place to eat in Lafayette that takes reservations. Historic house with patio that you can eat at with nice grounds to see.
