Weekend special red velvet donuts! Since Meche?s went wonky these are my favorite donuts in Lafayette (aka most meches-like, melt in your mouth when hot). Friendly staff and they also have breakfast sandwiches and Kolaches

Donuts are good and so are the Kolaches. The filled Boudin Kolache was great. There are several locations in the Acadiana area to make it easier to meet one of them.

During one particular order, I called in with only an hour left before closing, worried about causing any inconvenience. Kassondra, the professional and polite employee who answered, assured me that they were happy to take my order and even offered to start preparing it right away. I hesitantly asked for my usual special request of extra chocolate sauce and was pleasantly surprised by her enthusiastic response of "absolutely!" In the past, we have encountered common issues with our orders from other shops, such as doughnut holes being undercooked or hard, not enough sauce or sprinkles, missing a side of sauce, or messy packaging. However, we have never experienced any of these problems at Cajun Market Donut Company on Pinhook! We have placed numerous orders with them over the past year, and the quality and consistency have always been top-notch. They pay close attention to detail, are generous with their portions, and show care in everything they do. Whether you order by phone, online, through an app, or in person at their counter, you are guaranteed to receive the best of the best. The friendly and welcoming staff, along with the cozy atmosphere, make every visit a delightful experience. Kassondra, in particular, stands out as one of the most friendly and respectful restaurant employees I have ever interacted with. From all the donut shops we have tried in this area and in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, none compare to the excellence of Cajun Market Donut Company on Pinhook. It truly feels like being a part of a welcoming family whenever we visit.

My first time to try Cajun Donuts? the staff was super friendly and understanding that I had no idea what I got (what ended a ton) or what I wanted (which was almost everything). Product mode? So? I think Donuts is all about taste. Some people like thick, cakes, sweet donuts, others like thin, airy, buttery donuts. For me the donuts were good, but were breads as my preference. The Kajun bread was absolutely addicted!! From everything I tried (read velvet, bacon maple glaze, glaze, strawberry, chocolate, filled kajun bread), will I definitely not be filled again for the Kajun bread?

You know. One of my highlights to coming to Lafayette on business was taking donuts from CD. Always a cheerful and delicious experience. Sadly today I was met with a very cranky personal who made little or no effort to communicate in a reasonably legible way. Perhaps she was just tired or sick? Seeing i am in sales, I understand the Importance of conveying a positive and pleasant attitude at all times. Its can be tough but it 's part of my job. Food for thought.
