Walmart Neighborhood Market - La Mesa

Gift cards are a pain at walmart. Checker could not help, assistant manger cane over could not help. Told me to get mobile app, and walked away. Checker did her best to try again. Asst. Manager was useless and did not care that i could not redeem card. Perhaps he could have stayed with it to get card redeemed, line was getting very long, i left. Extremely poor customer service.

I came here regularly for years. But some employees are rude and unprofessional. Some lady gave me nasty look and said oh god . I laugh inside for this foolishness. I am guessing Walmart losing customers for this kind of behavior and unwelcoming attitude. All the good employees disappeared unfortunately.

I had one of the best experiences at this neighborhood market than I've ever had at any grocery store. Outside when I was putting my groceries away there was a guy named Matthew who helped me put my groceries in my car. I didn't have a lot of heavy items, I just had my two children so multitasking was a bit difficult in the busy parking lot. He was the friendliest person I think I have ever met At a grocery store. This was right around Thanksgiving time, a time when things are high stress and usually people are not very friendly, he restored my faith in good hearted people. Give him a raise.

I want to give four stars for customer service! I just can 't give that 4 stars because of the parking spot I was in having orange peels all over and the selection of products not having a middle range size. In this country we tend to eat a lot more and be bigger. There are still lots of healthy active individuals with the genetics or the habits that make them good-average or small-average size. Couldn 't find a middle size glove with padding and grip for my wheelchair. I bought a small-medium pair of gloves-is what they called it. I 'm usually small in things. These were so tight I couldn 't spread my fingers easily and everytime I went to propel my manual wheelchair with my hands, the gloves would dig into my thumbs. They had two sizes. They combined two sizes into those two individual gloves. I had the small-medium, but tried on the only other size they had-which was large-extra large. Neither fit! One was way too small and the other was way to big! It 's annoying to be left out when the padding and grip was so good on the gloves. Customer service was great. Very quick service and friendly staff upon arriving and leaving. Was assisted twice and felt that the employees were patient and helpful. I 'm sorry to have to rate it at 3 today but I wanted to leave a review because that 's what I do. Manage the trash around the property and try to have more inclusive sizing with the sports gear.

The most inept pickup experience I've ever had. I should have used Amazon. After waiting at the pickup counter because there was no one there, I found out that I COULDN'T pickup my order because I was inside my order was labeled curbside. They told me to check in on the app drive to the marked parking spots. So I sign in get in my car drive around the ENTIRE parking lot, but there're no spots. So I go back inside tell them wtf, they explain to me that curbside pickup is around back next to the dumpster, but there're no signs saying anyone other than around back next to the dumpster saying you're here. Reaaaaaal convenient, I was hoping to around the back of a walmart by the dumpster today. So I get there, now more than an hour after it was supposed to be ready, call the number, wait some more. Thanks for nothing. 0/10.
