I found this place by chance. we stayed in the village and the only other eating place was a pizza away that had no eating on the day we called. l’hysope was full on Saturday, so we booked for Tuesday to find that we were the only diner. no problem and the service was fabulous. I will not describe it differently than it was absolutely exquisite as we had never tasted. we are very fussy about where we eat and have eaten very well in past, but that was out. my suggestion: bury them at home or sell their children whatever is necessary to eat in this restaurant. be prepared: it is only a little difficult to find and a meal for 2 with wein costs us about £130. but it was so unforgettable.
After I had set myself, I asked if they had a vegetarian menu and said I should have told them at the time of booking. that didn't make us much easier. we had a discussion about which we should be chosen and asked the sommelier. to meet the choice for us. he said good; but as one of the members of our party was curious what this choice could be, he received the answer: I don't know. When it finally arrived, we were almost ready to start. Moreover, our designated driver was taken back a bit when a glass was placed in front of her, with the comment that it was her detoxification drink. we couldn't work out when he tried to be funny, in what case it didn't work, or he was just brutal. during the meal we got the usual imagination about what the ingredients were; but by the time of dessert the tellers were simply beaten before us without any comments. eating deserves her Michelin star; but given service is part of the accolade, I am surprised that they have it.
An excellent restaurant, wonderful eating and great staff, but it is away ****, a shame that the rat house did not know how to get it, it is right over the grass towards the house door of the rat house, down a track to. a beautiful landscape garden. excellent menu mark 22 euro for me, g had the 33euro menu, all stylish presentations served with gnade.
