Such good quality baked goods! Excellent sourdough bread, flaky and buttery croissants, delicious pies and wonderful sweets! They also make a good coffee and they are always friendly and prompt with their service. Shop is located in a charming historic building with a really nice vibe. Highly recommended.

The aromas of Grist swept me of my feet on Sunday. Then I tried your delicious, mouth watering almond vanilla custard croissant.... Taste buds explosion with every bite. Absolutely Awesome... Compliments to the bakers, chefs and staff.

We were recommended this bakery, particularly the homemade veggie pastie (best one they have ever had) by a friend and at first I was skeptical. However my husband and I went there today for lunch and the pastie certainly lived up to the recommendation. My husband had a beef curry pie and again said it was the one of the best pies he has had. In addition, the coffee was brilliant and the service was very welcoming. We also bought a rye loaf to take home and again it was so good. We would highly recommend this place.
