Atmosphere is great. Food was really decent. Service was a bit lacking if you're expecting 5-Star NYC attentiveness, but the kids who served our food were polite to us when they weren't busy texting their friends and such. Overall we enjoyed the place and certainly plan to return. (BONUS: great ice cream spot)Kid-friendliness: My kids did well. We had a breakfast buffet and while I did have to pay $6.99 for my 2 year old, it was otherwise a readable value.Parking: There was plenty of parking when we were there, but it looked like it could get dicy during a busy holiday weekend or such.Wheelchair accessibility: They have several options to eat inside, on tbe porch, or outside in your own booth, and it appeared that they had several options that would be more wheelchair accessible than most places. (I used to drive a wheel chair lift van, so I kinda look out for those things that might be helpful to others)
This place is pretty damned expensive. I'm assuming people who go there are paying for the atmosphere, which is very nice, but it's certainly not for the food. $13 nets you a fresh from the freezer quarter pound burger and two sides. If you get slaw, it's in a tiny cup. You can pay extra to get onion rings, which you get around 10 or so. That doesn't include the drink, either. So, a quarter pounder with cheese, the two small sides, and a drink will run you much closer to the $20 mark than that $10 one.
Took us 20 minutes to get a waitress, worst food I've ever had in my life. The service was the worst. The food was even worse. Cold shrimp basket, floating tacos, will give you floating diarrhea. Just don't, don't go thereFood: 1/5
Fun place. Drinks were reasonable. Bar tender was friendly. Good spot to sit down and have a couple cold ones.Service: 5/5
