Kelterhaus Bernkastel - Kröv

If you are looking for tasty pancakes, this is the place. We had really good food and wine here and the staff was very friendly. sitting outside on the street is quite cozy and lively. Reservations are not possible, but the staff is very helpful to get you a table.

Nice place to sit and watch people walk, good served drinks. Cheap prices everywhere and good friendly service.

When visiting Bernkastel from our river cruise, we stopped Pils Stube for a refreshment break. Four glasses of wine and a dish of local cheese Nibbles sat outside people watching. It was the annual wine festival of the city this weekend, so the city was packed. A lot goes on and many bands are playing on the street of us. In this facility they had a fantastic guy with seating and a closed cage with many very old bottles of wine. Great service recommended.

My friends and I were really happy with our single night stay here. We had a comfortable triple room that had everything we could need and a beautiful view of the surrounding vineyards (we were on the top floor). The staff was friendly and spoke passable English, which helped because none of us are German speakers. Breakfast was included, was nice and big enough to set us up for the day. Location is good, although the city is small, so this is not really a reflection as you are close to everything. They offer parking, but we were on our motorcycles so we had the opportunity to leave them for free. Overall, we were really happy with our stay and would be happy also back.
