Suruchi - Kolkata (Calcutta)

The rates are pretty high, I must say. For the quality of food they serve, the rates are definitely high. Though I liked their chicken chowmein, but the rolls were too mainstream. Wasn't that much impressed.

The food is all over nice.It's kind of a fast food and chinese combined place!Rolls and fried rice are better but some of the chinese starters are not so good!

Being located quite near to my locality, I have tried Suruchi quite a lot of times. The food is cheap but ordinary, taste wise. I have tried their egg roll, chicken roll and chow, and have loved it. However, their chicken manchurian disappointed me a lot. It was over salted and the quantity was less too. Suruchi, not offering dine-in services, is overcrowded almost all the time and the orders take long time to get delivered usually. It's inconvenient waiting outside as most of the chairs are occupied all the time.

I have been visiting this place for takeaways for many years. They serve good food at an affordable price. Chilli chicken boneless and Tandoori chicken is a recommendation.<br/ <br/ No dine-in available. They have a variety of dishes in their Chinese and North Indian cuisine. It never disappoints when it comes to quality and quantity. Worth trying.

When we had shifted to our new apartment, Suruchi used to be the place from where we used to get food whenever mom didn't want to cook. Their Dry Chilli Chicken and Dry Chilli Prawns were like out of the world. The other fried rice and noodle options were also good. My mother was a fan of their Moglai Porota and the chicken pakora was good too! Haven't had here long ever since I started eating out on my own. I hope this place has maintained its standards like before. Happy Dining! :
