Their journey started from Kerala where alone they have around 6 branches which grew in no time. Now the brand has extended further to cities like Hyderabad and Mumbai. Recently I had the opportunity to visit its Mumbai outlet and I must say I was definitely impressed with the quality of food and beverages. Located in a narrow lane near the Bata store, Hill Road Bandra West Mumbai, MonQo does have a great curated menu that serves continental, Fast Food Beverages even the steaks, burgers, snacks, sandwiches, Kathi rolls are extremely delicious. What you will really enjoy about MonQo is the casual relaxed vibe of the place which is mainly because of its sweet welcoming staff. The staff is really cool, you can actually have a conversation with them, plus they also guide you through the menu to help you pick your meals. Even though the place might not be so spacious but the ambiance is quaint and its made interesting with entertainment elements like Guitar and board games. So you can enjoy some music and a chess game with your friends over great meals and shakes. The seating is comfortable/cozy and the place is very popular amongst the millennials crowd. The highlight of the Ambiance is the fantastic 3D Red Indian wall art and apparently, the MonQo name has also been inspired by it. Now coming to the Shakes and Food this is what I tried: 1. MonQo Exotic Shake Red Velvet Rs 199 5*/5 Oh guys, this was such a mind blowing thick milkshake. All their shakes are very filling quantity wise. Red Velvet pastry, rich chocolate shake is one of its best sellers which you must try. Presented in a beautifully branded Monqo bottle with a thick flowing Red syrup. I loved this drink and Highly Recommended. 2. MonQo Exotic Shake Caramel PopCorn Rs 199 5*/5 Rich Caramel Popcorn milkshake with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream is another best seller here. Do try this exotic shake. Highly Recommended! 3. Amritsari Butter Chicken Kathi Roll Rs 295 5*/5 Perfectly marinated creamy boneless chicken pieces in Amritsari buttery gravy, wrapped in light egg rotis, served with side salad, fries and 2 variety of ketchup one the normal tomato ketchup and second one is a local tamarind kerala dip. Again a really great and filling snack. Highly Recommended! 4. Visited the newly opened MonQo outlet for the brunch today. It's the very first outlet of MonQo in Maharashtra and we couldn't be happier about arrival in Bandra. They specialize in continental and a variety of fast food. The decor at the place is clean and minimalist. The hygiene maintained at the place deserve a special mention. The staff is very humble and helpful. Also, very welcoming to the feedbacks. Here's from my plate at the place: 1. Kitkat Shake 2. Kiwi Shake They have a pretty elaborate menu for beverages. There are a lot of choice in chocolate shakes, also if you are bored with regular chocolate drinks the menu have a lot more to offer in fruit shakes and others. Both the shakes that we tried were simply delicious. Fish n chips: The fish chips tasted great. The fish served was so fresh and soft. The outer layer was perfectly crispy in proportion to the softness inside. It was complemented with fries. The quantity quite suffices for 2 people. Grilled Veg Sandwich The sandwich was truly delicious. It wasn't like the regular grilled sandwiches we get around. It was loaded with the stuffings. The sandwich was complemented with some fries. Overall it was a great experience. Do visit the place, if you are around the vicinity.
Monqo styles itself as Shakes, Stakes and more restrauant. I was warmly welcomed by both Alain and sahil. Thank you for your kind service. It was nice that the manager also came and explained the menu to us. Obviously I had to try their food. I ordered: 1. Alphonso mango shake: This was the BEST shake I have had in a while. The flavour was so refreshing. Please do try. 2. White chocolate shake: I have been to so many restaurants that have dark/milk chocolate shakes. But when I saw white chocolate I had to try. It was very authentic in flavour. Not too sweet as well. 3. Trucker chicken burger: this burger is served with fries and tossed veggies. It was good 4. Honey mustard grilled chicken: this is served with wedge and tossed veggies. This also has a side of garlic bread. Over all the dish is good and I suggest you try this. My only tip was that the chicken could have been more jucy. But over all I had a great time. Thank you and I wish you all the best !
MonQo's first ever outlet in Maharashtra is in Bandra after a successful response to it in all over Kerala. It's in between the busy streets of Hill road with a spacious seating availability and a live counter for shakes and sundae's. Though famous for Thick shakes, they also have steaks, sizzlers, sandwiches and roll. Tried two of their shakes Red Velvet and Nutella. Both extremely creamy and amazing. We would definitely suggest both. Had their Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken which came along with a Garlic bread, potato wedges and sauce. The steak was tender and the honey mustard sauce was absolutely delicious. Also tried their Chicken Steak Sizzler that came along with mashed potatoes and stir fried veggies along with the sauce. Overall all, one dish can be enough for one person and worth the price. One thing which disturbed us was the live counter was extremely noisy unlike other cafes. Ambience : 5/5 Staff : super friendly Food : 5/5
*New Place Alert* Monqo which is a amazing cafe from Kerala has opened it's first store in Mumbai. It's located near Bata showroom on Hill Road which is 10mins from Bandra station. The ambience is beautiful with wooden furniture and games placed on each table that would attract more crowd from numerous colleges around. The staff was super friendly and helpful with the menu. Shakes and steaks are their specialities and they have pao based items for Mumbai. We tried Diliwala Fries French fries served with spicy sweet dip. The dip is unique and tasty and also their invented recipe. Paneer Tikka Roll really yum and fullfiling quantity. Paneer Steak A must try Sizzler with paneer steak, veggies, Fresh fries and potatoes. Ferrero Rocher milkshake This is a strong recommendation for Chocolate lovers. Caramel Popcorn Shake This one was suggestion from the staff and I am glad I went for it. Super delicious and must must have. Overall great experience and a very promising place in the vicinity. Will definitely recommend to visit them.
