Finding a member of staff is like walking aboard the Mary Celeste. But when you do, trying to find one that's trained, capable of being OF service or engaging in conversation rather than a grunt has proven too difficult. The hospitality industry was hit particularly hard during lockdown. The answer is NOT to pay a pittance to untrained, poorly supervised or managed kids l, whilst expecting to charge city prices! Nothing left to chance, no hiccoughs, no having to double guess what to do next. Really enjoyed the Spa facility, the pool being a perfect temperature and a good enough length for serious lane swimming. The relevant showering installations were exactly as needed. Lovely hotel. Nice rooms. Bit of noise from planes taking off which couldn't be helped. Overall, a pleasant experience and a nice place to stay. Plenty of hot water and a decent shower. Lovely staff. Breakfast good. Convenient for Knutsford Arley etc. Spa/conference/wedding hotel. Not my vibe but fine . Rooms: Comfortable bed Food drinks: Good breakfast Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 4
