Silvia's Mexican - Knoxville

I have dined at this restaurant multiple times. Unfortunately, every time I order delivery, there are always missing items (particularly salsa). While it may not be a huge deal, it is frustrating to pay for 3 salsas at $8 each, only to have them missing. This has happened on a $50 order, resulting in $30 wasted. The same issue occurs with pick-up orders, but I am always diligent about checking my order. My most recent order was the only one that actually included the salsa, which I believe was because I specifically asked the delivery person to check for it. Additionally, the entree I received was incorrect and overall, none of the food tasted good.

I am in love with this restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious and the portions were huge. My husband ordered the burrito plaza with carne asada y chorizo, while I had the carnitas with charcoal beans. The meal was so filling that I couldn't finish it all, but I couldn't resist trying the sopapillas. They were absolutely phenomenal - the perfect combination of puffy and crispy tortillas with cinnamon, sugar, honey, ice cream, and strawberry slices. This restaurant has definitely won me over!

I visited this restaurant twice during my trip to Knoxville and absolutely loved it. The food was homemade and truly authentic Mexican cuisine. The staff was great, the portions were generous, and my group especially enjoyed the margarita pitchers. Located on the edge of the University of Tennessee campus, this large restaurant is perfect for accommodating large groups. I will definitely be visiting again on my next trip. A home run for sure. Go Vols!

I absolutely love this restaurant! I come here for lunch often and although the service can be a bit slow for a quick lunch break, the food is worth the wait. I have never had a bad meal here. My favorite dish is the tacos Al carbon, followed by the pollo loco, veggie fajitas, and shrimp quesadillas. The menu has so many delicious options, I could go on and on. The staff are friendly and our orders are always correct. Every dish I have tried there has been made fresh with care. I highly recommend this place!

"The tacos were delicious! My friend tried the chimi and thought it was just okay. I had the al pastor, carnitas, and Baca beef taco, and they were all amazing. We travel here frequently, so I will definitely be trying more. I highly recommend this place! Have a Modelo beer on tap."
